Prof. Veronica Folasade T. Babajide is the current Director of Logistics & Web Administration of the Education Dialogue Association and Global Education Network. She is also a fellow of the Global Education Network (GEN) and a Gold Member of the Association of Behavioural Research Analysts and Psychometricians (AB-ReAP).
She holds a B.Sc Ed. (Physics) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, M.Ed (Physics Education) and Ph.D. (Physics Education) from the University of Ibadan. She is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Lagos, Akoka who has served in different positions across all levels in the University. She was the immediate past Examination officer, Department of Science and Technology Education, Secretary, Faculty of Education Social and Staff Welfare Committee and currently the Post Graduate Coordinator of Science and Technology Department and Member of the University of Lagos Senate Council.
Prof. Babajide is a member of International and professional organisations. She is the Acting Registrar of the International School of Advance Research (ISAR) from 2017 to date. ISAR is an online school of the International Institute of Policy Review and Development Strategies. Prof. Babajide is a Leader of the Arts and Education Directorate of the Institute of Policy Review and Development Strategies (IPRSD); and a member of several associations. Such include:
- African Research Council on Sustainable Development (ARCSD)
- Nigeria Institute of Physics (NIP)
- Curriculum Association of Nigeria (CON)
- Institute of Policy Review and Development Strategies
- Women Physicists of Nigeria (WPN) Affiliated to Nigeria Institute of Physics (NIP); and Women Physicists in USA, Europe and Canada and
- National Association of Educational Researchers and Evaluators (NAERE).
Prof. Babajide has passion for research and science teaching, her areas of research interest are the use of research reports and modern technologies to improve the teaching and learning of science at all levels of education. She has published in many recognized national and international journals. She is happily married and blessed with three children.
